Grieb powers SaberCats past Avengers

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Mark Grieb tossed seven touchdowns to propel the San Jose SaberCats to a 70-42 victory over the Los Angeles Avengers on Saturday night.

Cleannord Saintil had four catches for 47 yards and three touchdowns while Rodney White and James Roe had two touchdown grabs for Western Division-leading San Jose (6-4).

Tim Hicks completed 20-of-39 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns for Los Angeles (3-7).
