Brewers sign five to one-year contracts
Feb 20, 2012 - 6:07 PM Maryvale, AZ (Sports Network) - Pitchers Marco Estrada, Mike McClendon and Tim Dillard were among five players the Milwaukee Brewers signed to one-year contracts on Monday.Estrada went 4-8 with a 4.08 earned run average in 43 games, seven of which were starts, for the Brewers last season.
McClendon compiled a 3-0 record and a 2.63 ERA in nine relief appearances with Milwaukee a year ago, while Dillard had a 1-1 record and matched Estrada with a 4.08 ERA in 24 trips out of the Brewers bullpen in 2011.
The Brewers also signed pitcher Mark Rogers and catcher Martin Maldonado.
