Stamps give Harrison contract extension
Mar 7, 2012 - 5:59 PM Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - The Calgary Stampeders rewarded offensive lineman Edwin Harrison with a contract extension on Wednesday."We expect Edwin to be a major contributor to our offensive line in 2012," said Calgary head coach and general manager John Hufnagel. "Edwin unfortunately missed part of 2011 and we hope to see him for a full season in 2012."
Harrison played in just nine games a season ago, yet was a key contributor to a line which surrendered the second-fewest sacks (34) in the entire CFL.
The Colorado product had previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs before heading north in 2010.
