Edmonton loses Oramasionwu to knee injury
Jul 7, 2014 - 8:34 PM Edmonton, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Edmonton Eskimos suffered a blow to their defensive corps, revealing Monday that defensive lineman Don Oramasionwu is out for the remainder of the season with a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee.Oramasionwu, 28, recorded 21 tackles and three sacks for the Eskimos in 2013.
In addition, offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman will be out indefinitely because of a dislocated right elbow.
The Esks also signed wide receiver L.J Castile and defensive back Markus Smith to practice roster.
Edmonton hosts the Ottawa RedBlacks on Friday night.
