Calgary pair headline CFL's best for Week 14
Sep 30, 2014 - 4:46 PM Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Calgary Stampeders teammates Jon Cornish and Jock Sanders were among the standout players for Week 14 of the CFL season.Cornish was named the top Canadian for the fourth time this year after rushing for 156 yards in a 14-7 win over British Columbia. Sanders earned the special teams award after averaging 16.8 yards on six punt returns.
Edmonton Eskimos running back John White was named the offensive player of the week after rushing for a career-high 192 yards and a touchdown in a 24-0 win over Saskatchewan. He also caught a touchdown pass.
Montreal Alouettes linebacker Bear Woods recorded a sack among his nine tackles and forced a fumble in a 15-7 win at Ottawa to take home defensive honors.
