O'Meara out of British Open
Jul 10, 2012 - 6:12 PM Lancashire, England (Sports Network) - Mark O'Meara, the 1998 British Open champion, withdrew from this year's event at Royal Lytham & St. Annes, with an undisclosed injury.O'Meara, who won his claret jug at Royal Birkdale the same year he won the Masters, will not be replaced in the field, since it is already over the normal 156 players.
