Reds activate OF Dickerson
Sep 30, 2009 - 11:02 PM CINCINNATI(AP) -- The Cincinnati Reds activated OF Chris Dickerson from the 15-day disabled list before Wednesday's game against St. Louis.Dickerson has been on the disabled list since Aug. 25 with a severely sprained left ankle. He was hitting .277 with two home runs, 15 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 14 attempts in 96 games when he was injured.
Dickerson, 27, will probably be limited to pinch-hitting and pinch-running, since he didn't have a chance to go to the minor leagues on a rehab assignment, manager Dusty Baker said.
