Rays claim Conrad off waivers from Brewers
Jun 21, 2012 - 9:36 PM Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays have claimed infielder Brooks Conrad off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.Conrad was designated for assignment by the Brewers on Tuesday. He was 3- for-40 at the plate with two homers and six RBI in 25 games for Milwaukee this year.
In 256 career games with the Braves, Athletics and Brewers, Conrad has batted .212 with 16 home runs and 62 RBI.
