Rangers place Lewis on DL
Jun 26, 2012 - 8:41 PM Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers placed Opening Day starter Colby Lewis on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.Lewis, who suffering from tendinitis in his right forearm, has pitched to a 6-6 record with a 3.51 earned-run average in 15 starts this season. He also has the best strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.50) in the big leagues.
The right-hander is eligible to return to the active roster on July 9.
