Phillies activate Halladay to start
Jul 17, 2012 - 9:15 PM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies activated ace Roy Halladay from the 15-day disabled list to start Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.Halladay was placed on the DL on May 29 due to a right latissimus dorsi strain. Two days earlier, the right-hander left his start against the Cardinals.
Heading into Tuesday's game, Halladay was just 4-5 with a 3.98 ERA over 11 starts.
Pitcher Brian Sanches was outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He was 0-1 with a 9.95 ERA in six relief appearances for the Phillies this year.
