Mets recall Carson
Aug 21, 2012 - 10:34 PM Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Mets recalled pitcher Robert Carson from Triple-A Buffalo placed pitcher Jeremy Hefner on the paternity leave list.Carson appeared in two games for the Mets in May.
Hefner and his wife, Sarah, are expecting the couple's second child. He is 2-5 with a 5.11 ERA in 19 games (seven starts) this season for the Mets.
