Reds activate Cueto from DL
Jun 16, 2013 - 4:16 PM Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds activated pitcher Johnny Cueto from the 15-day disabled list in time to make the start in Sunday's series finale against the Milwaukee Brewers.Cueto had been sidelined with a strained right shoulder since his last start on May 31.
Prior to this latest setback, he was 3-0 with a 2.17 earned run average in six starts.
To make room on the roster, the Reds optioned pitcher Pedro Villarreal to Triple-A Louisville.
