A's teammates win AL weekly award

Sep 29, 2014 - 7:58 PM New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Two teammates who helped the Oakland Athletics clinch a playoff berth on the final day of the regular season were named co-American League Players of the Week on Monday.

Sonny Gray, who threw a six-hit shutout against Texas on Sunday, and right fielder Josh Reddick became the third and fourth Oakland players to capture a weekly award this season.

Reddick batted .480 in six games last week and had an RBI triple in Sunday's 4-0 win.
