O's strike deals with Norris, Flaherty
Jan 26, 2015 - 10:15 PM Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Pitcher Bud Norris and infielder Ryan Flaherty agreed to one-year contracts with the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, allowing both to avoid arbitration.Norris, 29, was 15-8 with a 3.65 ERA in 28 starts last year for the Orioles. The 15 wins were a career high for the right-hander, whom Baltimore acquired from the Houston Astros on July 31, 2013.
The 28-year-old Flaherty hit .221 with seven home runs and 32 RBI in 102 games for the Orioles last season.
