White Sox place RHP Albers on DL
Apr 25, 2015 - 7:10 PM Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago White Sox placed right- handed pitcher Matt Albers on the 15-day disabled list with a broken finger sustained in Thursday's melee with Kansas City. The 32-year-old reliever made the club after signing a minor league contract in the offseason, and has allowed a run with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
The White Sox expect Albers will be ready to return from the compression fracture on his throwing hand after the 15 days are over.
