A's activate Zobrist from DL

May 25, 2015 - 5:15 PM Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Athletics activated infielder/outfielder Ben Zobrist from the 15-day disabled list on Monday.

Zobrist missed a month with a left medial meniscus tear in his knee. He batted .240 with a home run and eight RBI in 14 games prior to the DL stint.

The Athletics opened a roster spot by sending outfielder Craig Gentry down to Triple-A Nashville. Gentry appeared in one game after being called up on May 17.
