Brewers place Peralta on DL
May 25, 2015 - 9:52 PM Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Wily Peralta has landed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained oblique.Peralta left his last start on Friday after just four innings with tightness in his left side, but manager Craig Counsell initially thought that Peralta would be ready to take his next turn in the rotation.
Peralta, 26, is just 1-5 with a 4.00 ERA through nine starts in 2015. To take his place on the active roster, the Brewers recalled right-handed pitcher David Goforth from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
