Giants call up Adrianza, DFA McGehee
Jun 30, 2015 - 4:53 PM Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco Giants have purchased the contract of infielder Ehire Adrianza from Triple-A Sacramento and designated third baseman Casey McGehee for assignment.Adrianza is batting .316 with six doubles, three homers and 15 RBI in 44 Triple-A games this year. He hit .237 with six doubles and five RBI in 53 games with the Giants last year.
The 32-year-old McGehee hit .213 with two homers and 11 RBI in 49 games this season, his first with the Giants.
