Brewers turn triple play against Marlins

Apr 30, 2016 - 1:48 AM MILWAUKEE (AP) The Milwaukee Brewers turned a triple play in the fifth inning against the Miami Marlins on Friday night.

With Martin Prado at second base and Christian Yelich at first, Marcell Ozuna hit a hard one-hopper that third baseman Aaron Hill fielded a couple steps from third. He stepped on the bag and threw to second baseman Yadiel Rivera for the second out. Rivera threw to first to get Ozuna by a step, with pitcher Zach Davies pumping his fist in excitement on the mound.

It is the seventh triple play in franchise history. The last one was Aug. 15, 2011, against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Miller Park.
