Astros RHP Brocail ejected
Jul 3, 2008 - 8:45 PM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Houston Astros righthander Doug Brocail was ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the ninth inning of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.Brocail was upset with home plate umpire Tim Timmons on a pair of close pitches that were called balls, and confronted Timmons after walking Matt Kemp.
Houston brought in lefthander Tim Byrdak to replace Brocail.
