2B Felipe Lopez hit in the cleanup spot on Thursday and Friday, 
the first two times in his career he has done so.  He made it 
count, going 3-for-8 over the two games with a pair of RBI and 
two runs scored.  The Cardinals have used a variety of different
lineups this season and still have not settled on a full-time 
cleanup hitter, rotating for most of the year between OFs Ryan 
Ludwick (62 times) and Rick Ankiel (56) and 3B Troy Glaus (28). 
... After going 6 1/3 innings or more his first eight starts of 
the season and 11 of his first 12, RHP Adam Wainwright has 
managed to get past the sixth just once over his last seven 
outings, including Friday's five-inning effort. ... Glaus was 
the only position player - including both starters and 
substitutes - who did not get a hit in Friday's 12-6 victory.  
Twelve different players (seven starters and five subs) combined
for 18 hits on the day.
