Returning to the Metrodome likely couldn't have felt any better 
for the Minnesota Twins on Friday. The Twins snapped a 
three-game skid with a 10-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers. 
Minnesota went 5-9 on a 15-day, 14-game road trip. The win was 
the first of six straight games at home, but Minnesota then goes
on another extended trip, a 10-game stretch, before finishing 
the season with six at home. In all, the Twins are in the midst 
of playing 24 of 30 games on the road. ... LHP Francisco Liriano
certainly likes being at home. Liriano is 10-2 with a 1.74 ERA 
in 21 career starts at the Metrodome.
