Thunder sign free agent Royal Ivey
OKLAHOMA CITY(AP) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed free agent Royal Ivey to add depth to their backcourt.
General manager Sam Presti announced Wednesday that Oklahoma City had signed the 6-foot-4 guard, who has averaged 3.6 points in six NBA seasons with Atlanta, Milwaukee and Philadelphia.
Presti says Ivey will bring a defensive mentality, competitive nature and professionalism to the team.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
