Suns extend qualifying offers to Lopez, Brooks
Jun 28, 2012 - 9:51 PM Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns extended qualifying offers to both center Robin Lopez and guard Aaron Brooks on Thursday.Lopez, a Stanford product, averaged 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 64 appearances for Phoenix this past season.
Brooks spent the 2011-12 season in China. He last suited up for the Suns two years back, striking for 9.6 points, 4.2 assists and 1.1 rebounds over 25 games after his acquisition from Houston.
Phoenix has the right to match any offer sheet made by any other team for either player until Saturday's deadline.
