Bobcats extend qualifying offers to Augustin, Brown
Jun 29, 2012 - 11:41 PM Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats extended qualifying offers to guard D.J. Augustin and forward Derrick Brown on Friday.The offers make Augustin and Brown restricted free agents, and allow the Bobcats to match any other they receive from another team.
Augustin averaged 11.1 points and a career-high 6.4 assists per game last season for Charlotte. In his four NBA seasons, Augustin has played in 282 games, averaging 10.9 points and 4.4 assists.
Brown averaged career-bests of 8.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest in 65 games during the 2011-12 campaign.
