Warriors sign 1st round pick Barnes
Jul 3, 2012 - 11:23 PM Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors signed first round pick Harrison Barnes on Tuesday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed for the seventh overall pick of last Friday's draft.
Barnes, 20, spent two years at North Carolina and the two-time All-ACC selection averaged a team-leading 17.1 points per game last season.
In 71 college games, he averaged 16.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
