Nets ink veteran Stackhouse
Jul 16, 2012 - 7:24 PM Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets have signed veteran swingman Jerry Stackhouse to an undisclosed contract.Stackhouse spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 3.6 points in 30 games.
The 37-year-old North Carolina product will be joined his eighth team since entering the league. Selected third overall by Philadelphia in the 1995 NBA Draft, Stackhouse has averaged 17.4 points, 3.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 933 career games. He has also played for Detroit, Washington, Dallas, Milwaukee and Miami.
