Bulls sign G Belinelli
Jul 24, 2012 - 8:28 PM Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls signed free agent guard Marco Belinelli on Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.Belinelli, 26, spent the past two seasons in New Orleans and last year saw him average 11.8 points and 2.6 rebounds while appearing in all 66 games, starting 55 of them.
During a five-year career that included stints with Golden State and Toronto, the 18th pick of the 2007 draft by Golden State has averaged 8.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 287 games.
He is a career 39 percent shooter from three-point range.
