Thunder's Jones has knee procedure

Jul 14, 2014 - 5:21 PM Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that forward Perry Jones underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday.

Jones, Oklahoma City's first-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, was given a 4- to-6 week timetable for recovery but is expected to be ready for the team's fall training camp.

The 22-year-old did participate in four of the Thunder's five games at the recent Orlando Summer League, where Jones averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and went 9-of-19 from 3-point range.

After appearing in 38 games as a rookie in 2012-13, Jones saw action in 62 contests for the Thunder last season and averaged 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds.
