Celtics re-sign Bradley
Jul 16, 2014 - 1:45 AM Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Celtics announced Tuesday they have officially re-signed restricted free agent Avery Bradley.Terms of the multi-year deal were not released, but the Boston Globe reported last week the deal is worth $32 million over four years.
The 23-year-old Bradley is coming off his best season as a professional, averaging 14.9 points and 3.8 rebounds -- both career highs -- in 60 games for the Celtics.
"(Bradley) keeps getting better and is still far from reaching his ceiling. We're ecstatic to have him back," said Danny Ainge, the club's president of basketball operations.
The Texas product was selected by Boston with the 19th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and owns career averages of 9.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 205 games.
