Wizards acquire Humphries from Celtics
Jul 19, 2014 - 10:45 PM Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Wizards announced Saturday they have acquired forward Kris Humphries from the Boston Celtics in exchange for a protected 2015 second-round draft pick.Humphries, once famously married to reality star Kim Kardashian, averaged 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds over 69 games in his only season for Boston.
The 29-year-old forward played three-plus seasons for the Nets before that and was most productive from 2010-12, when he averaged 11.7 points and 10.7 boards in 136 games.
He has career averages of 6.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 627 games for Utah, Toronto, Dallas, the Nets and Boston.
