Suns' Thomas undergoes wrist surgery

Aug 14, 2014 - 7:26 PM Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Phoenix Suns guard Isaiah Thomas underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left wrist on Thursday and is expected to be ready for training camp.

Thomas, who was acquired in a sign-and-trade deal from the Sacramento Kings on July 12, averaged career-highs of 20.3 points, 6.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 72 games last season.

The 25-year-old owns career averages of 15.3 points and 4.8 assists over three seasons.
