Warriors ink G Barbosa
Sep 10, 2014 - 9:49 PM Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors signed free agent guard Leandro Barbosa on Wednesday.Barbosa, 31, averaged 7.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 20 games for Phoenix last season. He spent the beginning of the season playing in his home country for the Brazilian League.
The 11-year veteran, who won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2006-07, has compiled career averages of 11.9 points, 2.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds over 649 career games (111 starts) for Phoenix, Toronto, Indiana and Boston.
