Blazers pick up options on McCollum, Leonard
Oct 27, 2014 - 9:27 PM Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - The Portland Trail Blazers announced Monday that they have exercised the third-year option on the contract of guard CJ McCollum and picked up the fourth-year option on center Meyers Leonard.Selected 10th overall by Portland in the 2013 draft, McCollum averaged 5.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 38 games as a rookie last season.
Leonard has averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 109 games over the last two seasons. The Trail Blazers used the 11th overall pick in the 2012 draft on the 7-foot-1 Leonard.
