Celtics waive Bynum, finalize roster
Oct 28, 2014 - 12:26 AM Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Celtics waived six players on Monday, including guard Will Bynum, to finalize their opening night roster.Bynum, a seven-year veteran out of Georgia Tech, was acquired in a trade from Detroit on Oct 17. He averaged 8.7 points and 3.9 assists in 56 games last season for the Pistons.
Boston also waived guards Tim Frazier and Rodney McGruder and forwards Erik Murphy, Christian Watford and Jarell Eddie.
The roster now stands at 15.
