Mavs bring back Barea
Oct 29, 2014 - 11:33 PM Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Mavericks announced the return of guard J.J. Barea to an undisclosed contract Wednesday.Barea had spent the last three years in Minnesota, picking up 8.4 points, 3.8 assists and 1.9 rebounds per contest over 79 games for the Timberwolves last season.
The 30-year-old native of Puerto Rico began his career with Dallas from 2006-11, closing out his tenure with an NBA championship.
In 509 career games over eight seasons, Barea has put together averages of 8.3 points, 3.4 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game.
