Hornets' Williams has concussion, Biyombo bone bruise
Jan 26, 2015 - 4:25 PM Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams has been diagnosed with a concussion and a broken nose, and center Bismack Biyombo has a bone bruise in his right knee, the team announced Monday.Both players were injured in Saturday's 76-71 win over the New York Knicks.
Williams, who has averaged 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 43 games this season, won't be able to return to practice or game action until he passes the NBA concussion protocol.
Biyombo will be re-evaluated in approximately 10 days. He is averaging 4.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in 38 games.
