The Warriors had a five-game winning streak halted Tuesday with a 113-111 home loss to the Chicago Bulls in overtime. That setback also snapped a 19-home winning streak for Golden State.
Derrick Rose hit a go-ahead jumper with seven seconds left in overtime to give Chicago the win.
"It was a great game, it was a fun game to be part of. We just couldn't close it," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.
Klay Thompson tallied 30 points and 10 rebounds, David Lee supplied 24 points, nine boards and six assists and Stephen Curry provided 21 points and nine helpers for Golden State, which fell to 21-2 at home this season.
It was 14-0 against the Eastern Conference coming in.
The Warriors were 0-of-13 from beyond the arc after the break. They were 9- of-20 from long distance in the first half and blew an 11-point fourth-quarter lead.
Thompson was named as a Western Conference All-Star on Thursday and Curry was voted in as a starter.
The Jazz have dropped two in a row after starting this homestand with a victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Utah fell to the Boston Celtics on Monday, then fought vigilantly in a 94-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Enes Kanter paced Utah with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Derrick Favors contributed 18 points with nine rebounds and Gordon Hayward added 11 points in the loss.
The Clippers led by five, but the Jazz had chances.
Matt Barnes came up with a big block of Kanter that ultimately forced the Jazz into a shot-clock violation with under a minute left. Joe Ingles and Trey Burke then both missed 3-pointers in the final seconds as the Clippers held on.
"We had some clean looks. I thought our execution could have been better in a couple of situations," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said of the fourth quarter.
Burke chipped in 11 off the bench and Ingles added 10.
The Warriors have won both meetings this season, one at Oracle Arena and one in Salt Lake City. Golden State was won six in a row in this series and three straight as the visitor.
