Bledsoe posted 28 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists to help the Suns win their second straight game and close to within 1 1/2 games of Oklahoma City for the final playoff spot in the West.
Markieff Morris led Phoenix with 29 points to go along with 11 rebounds, and Alex Len deposited 12 points with 11 rebounds in the win.
The Suns had lost their previous four overtime games this season.
Russell Westbrook did all he could for the Thunder, scoring 39 points with 14 rebounds and 11 assists for his fourth triple-double of the season.
Enes Kanter and Serge Ibaka added 18 and 13 points, respectively, for Oklahoma City, which had its season high tying seven-game winning streak snapped.
Bledsoe converted a pair of baskets in a two-minute span to give the Suns a 115-111 lead with 1:51 left in overtime. Westbrook then made it a one- possession game with a layup that ended a drought of over three minutes without a bucket from Oklahoma City.
Westbrook drove the lane in the closing seconds and missed an open layup before P.J. Tucker knocked down a pair of free throws with under a second left to seal the win.
Oklahoma City did not score for the first four minutes of the fourth and the Suns took advantage. Morris started things with a 3-pointer as part of a 9-0 run for a 95-84 lead.
Dion Waiters and D.J. Augustin opened and closed a 12-2 run with respective 3- pointers to tie the game at 102-102.
With the game still tied, Morris hit a jumper from the free throw line, was fouled and hit the ensuing free throw for a 109-106 lead with 20.5 seconds left. Westbrook answered at the other end with a three-point play to tie the game once again.
The Suns' offense was stagnant on the final possession of regulation as Ibaka sent Morris' baseline layup into the Thunder bench to keep the game tied and send it to overtime.
Phoenix got out to a fast start and led by 10 after the first quarter thanks to some solid defense. Morris made a pair of baskets early on as the Suns jumped out to a 9-0 lead. They went up by as many as 13 in the quarter and limited the Thunder to 21.7 percent shooting en route to a 25-15 lead entering the second.
Oklahoma City continued to work on the offensive end, trailing by as many as 14 in the second. The Thunder ended the final three minutes of the half on a 14-6 run that cut their deficit to 53-48 at the break.
Oklahoma City opened the second half on a 10-0 run to grab its first lead of the night, but the Suns brought an 86-84 lead into the fourth.
Game Notes
Westbrook, who shot 12-of-38 from the floor, has 12 triple-doubles in his career ... Bledsoe has two triple-doubles in his career -- both this season ... OKC had its three-game road winning streak stopped ... Phoenix shot 49.5 percent from the floor, limiting the Thunder to 38.6 percent shooting.
