Curry returns following scary fall
May 26, 2015 - 4:02 AM Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Warriors star Stephen Curry returned to Game 4 of the Western Conference finals after a scary fall left the league MVP dazed and confused.Midway through the second quarter, Curry was chasing down Trevor Ariza in transition and fell for a head fake in the post. Ariza ducked as Curry tried avoiding him, and the momentum sent Curry head over heels and hard onto the floor.
Curry's arm was pinned underneath his body, and his head hit the hardwood upon impact. After staying face down on the court for several minutes, Curry gained his feet and walked back to the locker room with a trainer supporting his left arm.
The Warriors announced Curry suffered only a head contusion, and after passing the concussion tests in the locker room, Curry was back on the court with 5:58 left in the third quarter -- exactly 12 minutes from when the injury occurred.
The Warriors wound up losing for the first time in the series despite Curry totaling 23 points in 31 minutes.
