Hawks' Korver faces another surgery, this time on elbow
Jun 30, 2015 - 12:55 AM Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver is set to undergo surgery for the second time in five weeks.The Hawks said Monday that Korver will have surgery in New York on Tuesday to remove loose bodies from his right elbow.
The sharpshooter is still recovering from surgery last month to repair ligament damage in his right ankle. He suffered a high ankle sprain in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals and missed the rest of the series against Cleveland.
Recovery time for his elbow surgery will be determined after the procedure, the Hawks said. Korver is already expected to be sidelined for around three months because of the ankle surgery.
