Magic first-rounder Hezonja bought out by Euro team

Jun 30, 2015 - 1:33 AM Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Mario Hezonja has reached an agreement with his Spanish League team to release him from his contract, paving the way for the 2015 lottery pick to play for the Orlando Magic next season.

The Magic selected Hezonja, considered one of the top shooters in this year's draft, with the fifth overall selection in Thursday's draft.

Hezonja has spent the last two seasons with FC Barcelona in the Spanish ACB league. The 6-foot-8 swingman shot 39.2 percent from 3-point range while averaging 4.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 31 games in 2014-15.
