The Lakers put forth one of the most lackluster efforts in the 
history of the NBA Finals in Game Six.  They shot 27 percent and
failed to grab an offensive rebound in the first half. ... Los 
Angeles coach Phil Jackson, who won his first nine trips to the 
Finals, now has lost two in a row.  He lost to the Detroit 
Pistons in 2004 in his first stint with the Lakers.  Jackson 
remains tied with Boston legend Red Auerbach,  who also has nine
titles on the bench. ... Los Angeles shot just 10-of-27 from the
arc on Tuesday.
