Drake was unable to put together any big runs in the first half, and the Panthers took a 36-20 advantage into the break.

A 7-1 run from the Bulldogs saw the team get to within nine at 51-42 after C.J. Rivers put in a layup with 9 1/2 minutes to play, but Jesperson had a pair of 3s that sandwiched a Nate Buss 3 to build the lead back to 18.
