UCLA's Stover dismissed from team
Aug 6, 2012 - 11:29 PM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - UCLA redshirt junior center Anthony Stover was dismissed from the men's basketball team on Monday after failing to meet NCAA eligibility requirements.Stover appeared in 28 games (three starts) last season, and led the team in blocked shots with 39.
"We are very disappointed that Anthony has not met his academic requirements," said UCLA men's basketball head coach Ben Howland. "We had high expectations for him, and we were looking forward to getting increased contributions from him during this coming season."
