Washington, Gonzaga to renew series in 2016-17
Aug 4, 2014 - 10:29 PM Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Washington and Gonzaga will renew their men's basketball rivalry during the 2016-17 season, the schools announced Monday.The teams agreed to a four-year home-and-home series but haven't decided where the first game will be played.
They haven't played each other since 2006.
"We always knew we would resume the series," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said in a statement. "But our schedules have been full the last few years. We have an opportunity in 2016-17 and both teams were agreeable to playing."
No one has shouted yet.
