SDSU F Polee collapses during game

Dec 23, 2014 - 7:33 AM San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Diego State forward Dwayne Polee II was taken off the court on a stretcher on Monday after collapsing during the Aztecs' home game against UC Riverside.

Polee, a senior from Los Angeles, was defending on the perimeter midway through the first half when his legs appeared to give out. He fell to the court and spent nearly 10 minutes on the ground being tended to by paramedics.

On his way off the court, Polee acknowledged the crowd, which gave him a standing ovation as he was taken to the locker room. He was taken to a nearby hospital to undergo tests to determine the cause of his collapse.

Polee is averaging 9.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game this season.
