Carolina's Meeks game-time decision
Mar 25, 2015 - 8:08 PM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - North Carolina forward Kennedy Meeks participated in the non-contact portion of practice on Wednesday, with his status for Thursday's Sweet 16 game against Wisconsin likely to be a game- time decision due to a sprained left knee.UNC head coach Roy Williams said that Meeks' availability will be determined based upon how much swelling there is and how much discomfort the sophomore has following Wednesday's workout.
North Carolina, the No. 4 seed in the West Region, plays No. 1 seed Wisconsin at the Staples Center on Thursday.
Meeks is the Tar Heels' third-leading scorer, averaging 11.6 points in 36 games, and the team's second-leading rebounder at 7.4 per game.
