Syracuse's McCullough to enter NBA Draft
Apr 2, 2015 - 6:36 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - Syracuse freshman forward Chris McCullough will enter the NBA Draft, despite missing a majority of the 2014-15 season with a torn ACL in his right knee.McCullough suffered the injury during a January game against Florida State and underwent surgery in early February.
According to Yahoo! Sports, McCullough is rehabbing the injury and expects to be on the court later this year. He told the publication that Syracuse's NCAA sanctions did not factor into his decision.
McCullough averaged 9.3 points with 6.9 rebounds in 16 games for the Orange. He scored in double figures in each of his first eight games with a trio of double-doubles, but struggled from there.
The 6-foot-10 Bronx native failed to score more than seven points in his last eight games before the injury.
