Arizona's Hollis-Jefferson declares for NBA Draft
Apr 8, 2015 - 6:03 PM Tucson, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona sophomore forward Rondae Hollis- Jefferson has declared for the NBA Draft.Hollis-Jefferson led Arizona in rebounds (6.8) and blocks (0.8), while ranking third in scoring (11.2) and steals (1.2), as a sophomore in 2014-15.
"I've decided to move on to the next chapter of my life and enter my name in the 2015 NBA Draft," said Hollis-Jefferson. "After talking with my family and Coach (Sean) Miller to weigh the pros and cons, I fully believe this is the right choice. I'm excited for the challenges that lie ahead, and with the knowledge that God rewards hard work, I plan to attack them."
During his two years at the school, Hollis-Jefferson led the team to a 67-9 record, two Elite Eight appearances, two regular-season Pac-12 championships and a Pac-12 Tournament title. The Chester, PA native averaged 10.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals in 27.0 minutes per contest during his time at the school.
